Yep. Everyone survived. You won't see me jumping out of anything that can fly properly.

I'm surprised nobody was seriously injured. Looks like that was a nice plane...

Was the skydiver landing in the wrong place?

All I know was the plane was making touch-and-gos.

Somebody was not communicating or listening.

That WAS a very nice 170.

Well, I mean, it kind of was a touch-and-go...

Is it bad that I feel worse about the plane than the jumper? Just no reaction time or options for the pilot - left into power lines, not enough thrust to go up and right puts the prop into the jumper.

Glad to see the pics, I heard some jackhole on the radio this morning say he fell 75 feet without injury...........I was thinking how is that possible.

It's pretty obvious from the pics it wasn't anywhere close to that high.

Glad they both made it out with minimal injuries.

The plane has a limited area to take off and land in, I wonder if the jumper was waaaaaayyy off target.

I wonder who the FAA will find at fault? That diver's lucky he didn't eat a prop.

The plane landed on its wheels? Surely, you must be kidding?

No it landed on its nose. And don't call me Shirley.

What kind of plane is it?

Oh, it's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol.

There is a reason pilots call skydivers "Meat Missiles"

More like "Meat Bomb" in this scenario.

The local news interviewed one of the skydivers who was in one of those two planes that collided in mid-air in Wisconsin back in November, to get his point of view of this incident. He mentioned that he had been to this airport, but declined to jump there because the landing zone is too close to the runway.
