I want to try this, but 10 feet off the deck at 4 million mph my arms would give out.

They couldn't come up with a better name than "Grinding the Crack"?!

Not a bad advertisement for the Hero Go Pro....

I'm guessing that the airflow causes the wing suit to "ride up"

It looks like he's only a few feet from the ground in several of those shots

Those videos are always amazing.....hard to believe that that guy hasn't killed himself doing that yet. I hate to say it, but I think it's only a matter of time.

Guy with the camera hit the deck fast...I'd say that was a pretty close call.

Incredible feat, though. I'd love to experience such a thrill.

Looks like the limbs have some support.

He probably got within seven feet of the ground.

At the end he did touch the ground.

I want to know how many time you gotta do that run to memorize it and have a "route".

Well, if he's an autocrosser, he just needed to walk it once or twice

How exactly do you do that the first time? I get the whole practice by jumping from a normal plane... learn to work the suit. How the hell do you walk up to a giant berkeleying cliff in your wingy suit and just say berkeley it... I can do this?

I'll add this to my "Try only if diagnosed with imminent terminal disease" bucket list.

Reminds me of that story about the lawsuit-phobic costume company that sold a Batman costume with the warning, "Cape does not enable wearer to fly."

Looks like they fixed that.

I see a couple people on the ground at 1:19 and two dots floating in the air.

I've been trying to figure out what the dots are; one red, one blue.

Edit: Nevermind, they are the balloons. All I had to do was keep watching.

Some observations:

  1. Yea, because a helmet is going to help if you hit a tree.

  2. Not for all the money and awesome cars in the world would I do that.

  3. That dude has cajones the size of watermelons.

  4. The soundtrack is not my favorite type of music at all, but is somehow awesome.

That is so the cameraman will have something to make soup in after the crash.

I saw another video of this, the camera man was on the ground and the Squirrel was blistering along at light speed about 150 feet off the deck. Right in front of the camera he tosses the drogue, chut pops like drag racer and two seconds later the guy is standing in a field.

No second chances that glose to Terra Firma.

Yes, I'd like to try it!
