A few months ago, I posted some questions here for a friend, who was looking for info on building his own log splitter. He looked around the web, but couldn't find much helpful information, so he set out on his own.

They call it "hydraulics". The big cylinder-looking thing is a giveaway.

Hydraulic Cylinder: 4.5 inch, 3000 psi rated, 24 inch travel
Oil Pump: 22 gallon per minute, direct drive, two stage
Winch: 3000lb. ATV, wired remote and fixed control
Full out and back cycle, no load @3400 rpm: 10 seconds
15 inch, 50 series Kumho's on alloy wheels
Fully powder coated
