So...you want the long or the short story about this? I suppose had we not tried to get this done before Thanksgiving we'd have found better workers. They left today (I was at work), and when I checked it over when I got home, well, let's just say my wife should not have given the final payment. So much for working with local talent on short notice. I do not want them to return cause if this is what they think the final product should look like then they have a poor idea about top notch. A few screw heads visible in some areas, build up not sanded down well nor feathered, ridges of compound in some places and inner corners far from perpendicular. I'm in no mood to fix someone else's berkeley up but will. The bathroom was smaller but I did a hell of a better job in there on my own as an amateur. SVreX knows of what he speaks.
