That's another one the wife watches religiously.

As far as I'm concerned, the Kardasians are just Rich Trailer Trash. Totally classless, unintelligent human beings. A waste of space on TV and on the Earth.

From what I remember TLC went from "The Learning Channel" to "The Living Channel"

About the time they started following around that family of little people. I remember watching Extreme Machines on TLC, along with all kinds of cool stuff like that.

Now basically all we're left with is H2 and Nat Geo Wild.

Science Channel is the only "Discovery" type channel that is worth watching anymore.

Even they are slipping a bit.....I wish they were all science/tech all the time.

The Science Channel is starting to show too much entertainment stuff. I like Serenity as much as the next sci fi nerd, but I would like to have separate science and sci-fi channels.

Of course sci-fi messed that up even before they became SyFy. Back in the "I am Sci-Fi" days they were pretty fun. Now they are just another reality TV network with shows I don't care about.

This. I watch movies and Comedy Central, SPEED and sometimes the news. The rest of it is complete dreck and if it weren't necessary for Internet access I'd probably drop cable as well.

As long as my wife finds E36 M3ty TV programming entertaining, I always have ample time to fire up Forza 4 in the other room.

I'll miss Grand Am, ALMS and F1.

You'll find those available online. Just connect a laptop/desktop to the internet, start the stream, then connect the video to the TV and enjoy.

Justin.tv has most races streaming on there. That's how I watched the 24 this year. I have a HDMI output on my notebook and plugged it into my TV.

Honey Boo Boo BTW the little I could read about this on the YouTube write ups is that she juices the little girl up and the network thinks that's funny.
It actually had higher ratings than the Republican National Convention. (no political comment intended). http://www.eonline.com/news/342326/honey-boo-boo-beats-republican-national-convention-coverage-in-ratings WTF is wrong with people?
ratings sometimes are a bit misleading ... several yrs ago re-runs of the Andy Griffith Show and Designing on a Dime had higher ratings than the NHL All Star game ... go figure

Also, the convention was available on multiple channels, which would all have their own rating point.

If it wasn't for The Soup, I wouldn't even know most of these shows exist.

Not sure if I should appreciate all the laughs, or cry because I am so ashamed of my fellow Americans for creating/watching these shows.

Some say TLC's tame reality child star is just a overweight toddler with a bad upbringing, poor diet and ignorant parents!! All we know is she is called Honey Boo Boo.

Honey Boo Boo is the best show....in the world.

I did watch that show once. It was pretty sad. Next year when that little girl is 100 lbs and finally quits on the idea of ever being a pageant super duper ultra magnifico ultimate queen supreme, all she will have left is the embarrassing nature of this exploitive tv show and the fact that her dad bought a nice new ATV or bass boat or both with the money they made off of the show.

My wife loves sister wives http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/tv/sister-wives, but mostly because I provide insightful commentary throughout each episode. Imagine their suprise when they found the only lifestyle the people of Las Vegas couldn't tolerate.
