Tragedy with odd circumstances and outcome.
Not to flounder up this whole thing but I found the part of the article most interesting...
The victim legally entered and resided in Thailand, and is eligible for compensatory payment, as a Thai victim would be under the same conditions, police said.
Does this mean that an illegal alien in Thailand has less or no rights in the Thai legal system? Novel idea.
