The scariest part of the first one was when he figured out the one guy wasn't compatible and just...like that's some cold blooded E36 M3.
Totally agree on 2 and 3.
Another one I know rico will discuss, the saw movies.
1 and 2 were really good. they both managed to pop twists I never saw coming (the first one especially). 3 through.. however many there are now are a master class in creative gore porn.

Oh, also: Ready or Not is glorious.

We're up to 8 I think. I thought the last one was a really good way to pump some life into the series, but I'm really geeked about the Chris Rock produced, starring Samuel L Jackson and Chris Rock spinoff movie that's coming out.
The Saw movies are special to me. Not just for the gratuitous violence, but some friends I don't really see anymore and I would always go catch them for Halloween, and it was a good tradition. Any series that stretches that long though gets stale, just look at Jason and Freddy. Or that despicable Child Play reboot.
More for your list.

I have more, I just can't recall the names. It's right there in my head but damn the foreign film titles. LOL

Jigsaw was pretty good, and you're definitely right about the Chris rock produced one. I had no idea he was a fan of the series.

Can't help with the movies and it's not exactly on topic, but this thread brought back a childhood memory I'd rather forget.
When I was about 10 a bunch of guys were picking on this fat kid at school. I got in their face about it and they eventually left him alone. I didn't really know the kid, but I guess he thought we were friends now and invited me to his birthday party - which turned out to be him and me. His dad dropped us at the movies and we'd get something to eat after. It turns out that he was a fan of horror films. Naïve Peabody had never seen a horror film. Naïve Peabody was not even aware that there was such a thing as a horror film. The movie was Children shouldn't play with dead things. I wasn't prepared for what was about to happen on that screen and wasn't able to watch most of it. I'm not really sure how I got through it but when his dad picked us up and we were supposed to get something to eat, I asked him to just take me home. I had nightmares that night and a few more nights after. I was traumatized. I've never watched another horror movie since, and to this day still can't watch blood and gore.
Sorry for the interruption.
