I figured it was time for a hot nuts thread.

Found these for cheap in the local Food Predator. I don't usually care for honey roasted, but these are better than expected:

I have yet to try these, but I plan to place an order with them today!

I thought this thread was going to be about heat from exhaust gasses and under insulated racing seats.

If it happens to you and you're in an aluminum seat do not pour water into your lap.

My local connection...

Carolina Nut runs a NASTRUCK which is HQ'ed out of my home town Thorsports

My next door neighbor's printing company prints all the labels for Carolina Nut. I'm pretty sure that Thorson has some sort of ownership in the Nut Co.

I accidentally ate some of these the other day.

Absolutely. Awful.

That's better than my mundane thought about induction bolt heaters...

I love peanuts but I have never had hot ones. I'll have to see if I can find any at the store.

I came in here expecting to talk about these:

I'm not disappointed.

BTW, roasted chestnuts RULE. My dad has a wood stove, and he just throws a bunch on the top of it to roast. Soooooo good.

We had those pretty often growing up. Come to think of it, been a few decades since I had any...

Our overgrown project house hell has a huge beautiful chestnut tree out front and for the last couple falls we have roasted pounds of them. I have a pound or two in the freezer for when the urge comes up again. Yum.
