The guy is some kind of serious about getting the thing just right.

The 8 year old daughter and I just made a wooden Deora for the Awana pinewood derby type car including some tongue depressors modified and cut to look like surf boards.

Nobody got it. The few gear heads didn't get it either.

Thanks. I did the rough cuts and she did all other sanding and some of the painting. She did the decals and sticker windows. Yes, all the weight is on the front wheels. She got a 4th place speed award. This was her first year and she is excited about doing it again next year.
