For the last 8 years, customer service/retail. The last 3 months at a dealership.

My employer is always looking for people that can think hard enough to squeeze the trigger on a wire feed welder on the light poles they make in the other building.. about 45 miles west of Minneapolis, about halfway between highways 7 and 12..

Whatever you do I'd advise to not live too far away from where your employer is located. If at all possible dont sign a major rental agreement or make a housing purchase until you know where you will be working for the foreseeable future. I know a few people who have rather lengthy commutes and being our winters last so long here, that's more time on snowy icey congested roads than many people would care to deal with everyday. The metro area is growing pretty good and traffic is getting understandably heavier. As a part of this population growth, MN is earmarked to soon take in around 15,000 new residents (most will likely move in/around the core cities) who fled war torn parts of the world.
