Cubans flee a hurricane?!

Just curious.

EDIT - Sorry, just saw a big headline stating "Cubans Fleeing Hurricane".

It certainly seems they got more than their share of storms this season.

Sorry, I know that was offensive to Cubans.

The truth hurts I guess.

I used to think it was weird that every car in Cuba looked like it was built by Ford before 1952. I guess I still do today.

And I always thought a lot of those cars looked kinda like boats. Now I see why.

I saw a bit on PBS a few years ago about the old cars in Cuba. They did a short interview with a mechanic and they asked him where he got parts, since there was an embargo. He picked up a piece of pipe and said he sliced piston rings off of it. Now THAT's grassroots!
