That's the one! A 1/2 mile from my house. One section will become a storm water runoff storage pit when the "Deep Tunnel" project gets done. I'm told the limestone layer is 400 ft thick in places. The whole Chicago area could be a limestone quarry, just take off the topsoil and your there!

We used to have our office near the McCook quarry and ever spring they would start blasting. We always forgot when they stopped and then boom, then you realized the blasting and then got used to it.

Deep tunnel? My wife's cousin spent his entire career on that project.
