3.9 miles. Wilmington, NC.
My local HF moved from a nice open strip mall with lots of parking & easy access near where people live to a lousy area in a crappy strip mall near automobile row with poor access and lousy parking. I avoid it unless necessary now and don't spend nearly as much money there as I did before even though it's actually closer to my home now.
Looks like we're the outlier. Almost 11 miles from the HF to the closest Ford dealer 'round these parts.
1.6 miles here in Colorado Springs. There are more than just the ford dealer there. The Koreans and a few others have dealers there.
The Ford dealer in Charlottesville just moved across town this year, and they just opened up a Harbor Freight within sight of the new location.
The closest car dealership to my closest HF sells Porsche, Jaguar, BMW, Volvo, MINI which is almost across the street from the Hyundai dealership.
My local HF is literally next door to the Ford dealership.
Next closest HF is next door to a Chevy dealer.
2 miles between them at the closest HF to my current place.
My old place they're a mile apart across the freeway from each other.
14 miles from the Harbor Freight Tools on Rome-Taberg Road in Rome, NY to Fenton Ford on NY-13 in Camden, NY. If you count other dealerships, it's 0.7 mile from that Harbor Freight to the GM dealer I work at, slightly less for the VW and Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealer next to us.
2.4 miles for me, the HF is right off Florida Ave and Fletcher in Tampa, FL so its close to all the dealerships lol
Over the bridge that goes over a highway.
Maybe 1.5 miles, give or take.
It's also a E36 M3ty Ford dealership.
Horrible Freight and the Ferd dealer closest to me (Ewald Venus Ford in Cudahy WI) are across the street from each other - BUT there is a Harbor Freight in the same "city center" shopping development I work in and the closest Ford dealer is 6 miles/10 minutes. Thats not uncommon for an urban area tho.
