A plot in the '30s by some top corporate executives to overthrow the US government by force and establish a fascist dictatorship. Dubya's grandfather possibly involved.

Somehow I did not know about this at all. I'm not surprised in the least, it all makes sense...but it's absolutely horrifying. I just spent the entire afternoon reading some frightening, disturbing, sick E36 M3, because it entertains me, but I think I'll have nightmares about this tonight.
No charges were brought against anybody. I'm not going to lose any sleep over this.
Whenever conspiracy theories emerge, I think the maxim that best suits them is "Never attribute to malice that which can be explained through stupidity"
Most conspiracy theories are bunk. The only thing that sustains them is lack of evidence and people's imagination.
Just an early practice run for the recent take over.
The coup happened on a Sept day , 2001.
And we went to war with
Da , da DUMMMMM
Terorism! ( who ever the Hell they might be...)
and now? We dump Billions over seas while being raped at the pump at home.
And we all just rolled over and took it.
And still take it.
If we each had to write out a check for $3300 a month to fund this crap...
or had our children drafted as cannon fodder...
Then maybe, we might
WAKE UP!
It's been a while but I've read in the past about how close we were to having the government taken over by organized crime in the late 50's or early 60's and how close the government came to collapsing during the Vietnam war. It's too bad it isn't talked about more. There is a reason the we have multiple branches of the military.
Gee, I lived through all those times and I never heard of any of that.
It is pretty difficult, with our system of government, for it to collapse or be taken over.

Not particularly close, in fact.
orly?
Sorry, my original comment had no more background than yours, just couldn't resist the chance to bring that back from the dead.

Sounds like guilt by association. As in : He knew a guy who maybe knew a guy who was maybe involved.
His bio also states that he was on the boards of or helped organize Planned Parenthood (!) and the United Negro College Fund. Some subversive.
interesting, but my conspericy of choise is LBJ being behind JFK's assassination. JFK was about to draw down our involvement in 'Nam, LBJ's inlaws had finanicail interests in the war continuing. JKF was killed in LBJ's home state and LBJ was sworn in before we knew what was going on.
As for 9/11 conspericies, I don't think it was an inside job, but that W did turn a blind eye towards the warnings and something could have been done before hand.

actually we are at war with Terror. There is no They, it is an emotion. Until the world is rid of extreme fear Bush will stop at nothing.
In case you missed the front page headlines of the NY Times (no sarcasm intended at all) the terrorists have said they have declared war on us and as such feel justified in anything they do.
Until somebody does something about this then we will all have to stay on (name your color) Alert.

We've been at war with terrorism since when?, the early 70's? It's just that not too many people were paying attention. It's a shame so many people had to die for us to take REAL notice. Something needed to happen but I don't think this war was it, half-assed as it was.

I'm starting to think more and more of you are like Dale Gribble from King of the Hill.

Only black puppies that live in New Orleans.
