Zip panels are basically OSB with a rubberized surface coating. The joints are taped with a special pressure activated tape.  The entire surface becomes one strongly weather resistant surface. (I used it to sheath my walls and roof and it was left exposed without siding or roofing for months- no leaks).

As a bonus, when used for roof sheathing, it makes a nice traction surface to walk on.

Stuff is fantastic!

Thinking a little further about this...

The challenge with this structure is that you don't have anything that resembles a vapor barrier where you want it- outside the studs, but under the siding.

So, I'm favoring my option 2 above, with a few tweaks...

Agree with all of the above. When I lived in SWFL I ordered a similar shed with T11 siding. My first move was to take the siding off and wrap it with Tyvek. After that, run the electric from the house, insulate walls with faced R13 batts, insulate with R30 if the ceiling allows for it, and put in a window if you're gonna use it as an office. I used one of these in the window and it worked great-especially on the "dehumidifier" setting.

I had no problem with moisture or getting the temp way, way down. I really like the idea of solar panels for both power and to keep the roof cooler, but we were already running a 28 panel array on our main roof.

Good luck!
