The paper has to be removed before you push the pill through the foil.
There isn't a little tap to pull and folding the corner does not work.
Tell me there's a better way before I take them to the grinder.

Use scissors and cut it to the L shaped part since it has a tiny airspace to grab onto, and peel off the back?

The place that designs this stuff must have a liberal weed policy at work.
I used to have that struggle with Prilosec. Fortunately the pills were rigid enough that I just pushed really hard and it popped the paper and foil before it broke the pill.
The worst are trying to get at the anti diarrhea pills ... I think the packaging designers go out of their way to make those tiny buggers extra difficult to liberate from their bubble pack homes.
for the plastic bill bottles I get the magic market out and darken the arrows so I can line them up easier....
