I have an old rifle that has a Williams side mount scope base and a scope. The problem is the rings on it now don't clear the action and aren't centered over the bore. I have found the fix, but alas! The item is discontinued and no longer available.
This is exactly what I need:

Looks like this:

I know I could start from scratch with a modern solution, but I really want to keep this setup, for reasons.
Sources I've overlooked? CNC machine?

3D printing? If printed in one of tougher filaments it may work.
Do you know the dimensions you need?
In reply to T.J. :
I could get them in a few minutes with the rings I have and a scale. Heck, I could probably sketch it up in Sketchup.
Dunno if resin is going to be rigid enough. The ring is anchored to the base with a single 1/4-20 stud.

Yeah, may not be rigid enough, but some of the filaments can make some fairly strong parts. May be worth a try. If you create a 3D model, someone here would print it for you if you don’t have access to a printer.
First thing I would get ahold of one of the mount guys like LaRue Tactical or GG&G and see if they have any of them sitting around or could make you some. Otherwise draw it up and get a local CNC shop to crank them out.

Not without modification. I'm looking to use the Williams QC threaded stud mounting, if possible.
You can 3d print out a pattern and then have it lost wax casted,
That is what a lot of people who make jewelery do.
Just ask the caster how much you need to add for shrinkage
In reply to californiamilleghia :

The item existed in a recent catalog by Williams. I have a call in to them now. Hoping....
Metal when it cools shrinks 1-2 percent.....
And some materials more......
there are special rulers etc with this built in that pattern makers use......
And why you cannot just use an original part as your pattern when sand casting.......
I’ll print it for you. If it doesn’t hold up, we can print another one to use for a casting.
I’m very serious about this. I’m always looking for useful things to print and have printed for folks here before.

Thank you for that! That's very kind. When I get my ducks in a row, I'll post in this thread. Still hoping to hear back from Williams. I'll need to sketch it up if I don't.
Well, I got an answer from Williams. Not the one I was hoping for, but rather the one I was expecting--they do not make the item anymore, and they sold the last one maybe two or three years ago.
So I'll need to make a set. Since I've already got two rings for that mount, maybe just find a way to insert a spacer/offset beneath it? Hmmm.
Draw it up, get a dozen machined, sell the others over the next few years. The first one will be the expensive one.
there are plenty of online cnc outfits that can quote you a short run of those parts if you take Keiths advice
