If I don't watch tonight's UGA game, there's a good chance that my parents will disown me.
Is a trial sub to fuboTV the answer here? We don't have cable.
And the game's tonight, right?

Yes, 7:30 kickoff.
How did you watch last year? And if you didn't watch last year, why do you need to this year?
I have no idea what fubo is, but make sure you can see ESPN on it for the trial- that's where it's being shown. The other option would be a trial to ESPN+, which can be got as a part of Disney and Hulu.
I may actually watch it, since I'm in a hotel room with cable. My parents are UGA alumni and I was born there.

An ESPN+ subscription does not give you access to stream ESPN's traditional TV networks or the content on them. To stream those networks, you need a television subscription through a cable, satellite or digital provider.
a free trial with youtube tv would work.
I would argue that the best way to watch would be to fly the GRM corporate jet to LAX, limo to the stadium, buy tickets from a scalper. And there you are. But you need to hurry.
And it is supposed to rain this afternoon/ evening so make sure your chauffeur has umbrellas ready for you ,
The stadium is covered , it's the short walk to the limo where you might get wet !
And why would they have a national championship that the public cannot watch ?

Nope- when they went to the CFP, ESPN got almost all of the bowl games as well as the national semi and final. And that's even with ESPN and ABC being the same company under the Mouse.
Big money grab.
So no one's found a way to watch it on a 'puter? (and then run it on the big screen)
We did the bundle through Disney only to find we still can't watch it

You can watch the game on ESPN+. It's not the ESPN broadcast though. You get either teams radio broadcast synced with live video from the game.
Yes, trail on Fubo. It's free for 7 days. For semi finals I signed up under one email address and tonight I signed up under another email address. Interestingly, I used the same credit card both times.
Fubo will even send you a reminder to quit on the 6th day.
It's really that easy to quit with just a click of a button with no residual negatives.
I can then watch through my smart tv, or laptop, or tablet, or phone (I think even all of them at the same time.)
Turned it off in the 2nd quarter with 8 minutes to go, because it was obvious Georgia was going to blow them off the field.
Checking the score just now confirms my assertion. I was really pulling for TCU as OSU's loss to them this year began our unraveling. Started 5-0, then went 2-5 the rest of the regular season.

Feels like watching Oprah... "You get a touchdown! You get a touchdown!! Everyone gets a touchdown!!!"
Well, one half of my lawyer couple is gonna be happy. He went to FSU for under and grad school, but was born and raised about half an hour outside Athens.
