I need to get a ballpark figure of how much my late father's Jeep was worth (trade-in) in January 2018. It's a 2012 Grand Cherokee Overland 4X2 and had ~40K miles on it at the time. Everything online is for 2019 values. Anyone have an old paper copy of KBB from 2018 stashed away, or is there some online source I haven't been able to find?
Thanks!
Hagerty price guides have historic pricing, but they're into classic cars, and, as such, they don't have 2012 Jeep in their system. You can request an add, but I'm not sure that'll help.

Why not look up a 2013 Jeep on KBB with the same everything else? That should be pretty ballpark anyway...

Edmunds.com used to have a “value as of date” function. It was kind of buried but it was there. Not sure if it still is.

They killed that April 2016.

Well, there you go. Bummer. I only used it a couple times, but it was handy.

Thanks for the info. Yes, that's a bummer about the value as date thing. That's exactly what I was looking for. I'll keep digging.

Might be able to find a dealer who holds onto old blackbooks for some reason...
