I have a credit at HF and my toolbox is kinda complete, how would you spend a buck and a quarter at Harbor Freight?

More batteries for my Baur stuff.

Put it towards one of the new multiprocess welders.

Extra tape measures, levels, and tool guides.

20 ton air over hydraulic jack for my hydraulic press

Standalone and seperate from all my other tools bigass socket set to keep in the race car. Or a small tool box and car specific tools and sizes for it.

Weed burner for another foundry build

Flap discs

Outdoor lighting

Whaa? There is no such thing as a complete toolbox. I mean....I just spent about $50 there on wood router bits...for fabricating aluminum. Woodworking is not in my wheelhouse but I can always find something at HF that I need. If nothing else there are always consumable needs like sandpaper and cutting wheels.

Storage...cause everyone needs more shelves to store crap! 5-tier shelf is $60, or 4-tier for $35. Maybe the $15 garden tool hanger, you can put extension cords  and other corded tools on it too. And a tarp to cover the shelves so the wife doesn't yell at you for the garage looking so messy lol

Currently I could really use another engine stand.

I have been eyeballing the shop presses.  I don't have one, and it would likely get used infrequently, but I don't feel like my shop is complete without it.

I had a $50 gift card from Christmas and I used it for this:

Put together a travel kit with SAE and metric sets in the molded cases for 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive.  Same for screw drivers and other tools.

That way the tool box in the shop stays in the shop and complete.

I just bought their Hercules 6" Forced Rotation Dual-Action Polisher.  Haven't been able to use it because of the weather, but has great reviews.

You could get the buffer and a pad or two with your $150

Batteries if you have HF cordless tools, shop lights then disposables.  Gloves, foam brushes, polishing pads, sandpaper.  Then save the rest until there is something you do need.

If both the garage toolbox and the mobile toolbox are set, perhaps donate it to your local high school shop class.  I'm sure they could always use some tools or disposables.

My Harbor Freight shop press is one of my essential tools. I use it for many things beyond the obvious.

I broke one of these r&r-ing the 6L80 in my Avalanche two yrs ago.... It's an easy 270-300# transmission with a converter. It is not fun to lift by oneself. Ever.

I have two of their 3/8" flex head ratchets (bought with a coupon) and like them a lot. The Icon one is probably nicer (but more expensive). Here's the extended length one: https://www.harborfreight.com/38-in-drive-flex-head-long-handle-ratchet-70156.html

OK,   you'll have to kick in an extra $50 or so after taxes, but...

You'll need to log in to post.
