Wait until at least tomorrow. TWC just officially described the current conditions as "yucky".
That's what I'm voting for. Unfortunately a wife and daughter trump any man.
Cheebus, that will be heading right into the belly of the beast. Leave now to get there as soon as possible or forget it until Monday. We're supposed to get 12"-22" between now and Saturday evening just north of there. Maybe a little less in the Richmond area, but sooner.
It was slushy earlier today, but looking out my window it appears to have changed over to all snow. The National Weather Service is saying 2-5 inches today before it changes over to rain; 4-9 by the time all is said and done. Traffic on the street I can see from the couch looks down to about 15-20mph (from posted speed limit of 35).
So all in all, it's not awesome, but not Snowpocalypse like has been forecast to our north.
