I like it, but not as much as his fox-body Ranchero http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-ranchero-durango-FORD-very-rare-Ford-Durango-pickup-under-200-built-28_W0QQitemZ300342435169QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item45edcddd61&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14#ht_500wt_1032
The Nash is interesting but not my style. I claim neither wood or hurl. I do wonder what the turning radius is of that boat considering the front fenders covering the wheels
If you look at the guys other photos he has a cool Fairmont turned El Camino or Rachero in this case. I would like to see more of that.
Edit: Thanks Baxter for putting up the details. I will claim a bit of a "chubby" over the Fairmont.
What is the thingamabob hanging from the right rear window? Primative aftermarket A/C? Missile silo? Easy-bake oven?
And I think I'm totally over satin black at this point.
Yup, that's an old-school AC unit. They remain popular with the hot-rodders who can track down a working one.
Too much money, but ... No hurl, but no wood either.
I'd have to ditch most of the gee-gaws he's hung on it, including the visor, spots, and skirts. Definitely keep the six and 904. Work over the suspension, get some rubber to the road, real AC, and enjoy it.
Look at the photo with the front wheels turned, I think there's enough to cut a decent circle. Tire changes on the other hand....
I don't think the style suits the Nash too much and the satin black doesn't help.
Thumbs up for the Ranchero tho', and I don't normally like trucks.

OK, this is outside my box quite a ways, but I have an urge to buy that thing, stuff a 5.0 and T56 in it, and go scare the crap out of the madd tyte dorifto crowd at the nearest JDM fest.
Hurl in current condition. Wood after removing all the stupid silliness, and putting a coat of black on everything that's red.
Hurley Haywood....was that a choice? No? Oops. Can't see any of the pics since they are blocked here at work , but this is the internet after all so I can't go and let lack of knowledge stand in the way of offering my opinon.
TJ - Picture a full-size '50's bathtub Nash fastback. Black suede. Foxtail on the antenna. Windshield visor. Spotlights. Stick-on "ports" on the side. Maltese cross sticker. Red details on the chrome grill, red stripeon the beltline chrome. Pointy full wheel covers. Fender skirts on the rear. Some pinstriping. Spikes above the taillights.
Interior has fuzzy dice and red velour, bucket seats, and a skull shift knob (on a 904?). Pinstriping on the dash.
Does anyone else look at the that "Durango" and have twisted thoughts remembering the Fairmount wagon in the UTCC a couple of years ago...
I converted an 81 Mercury Zephyr Z7 to a Ranchero using the rear 12" of a station wagon to get a nicer look in the back. The extra 12" also makes it look like an old school altered drag car. When you drop the tail gate it looks totally factory.
I wanted to know more about the Durango, look what I found.

Seems a bit of a major flaw that you can not drive with the trailgate down since it would then have no tail lights.
This one claims fiberglass bed. I figured steel from a wagon Fairmont.

This more "homemade" version grafted from a wagon has the makings of a more functional tailgate. http://jalopnik.com/5347383/1978-more-than-fairmont-racer-truck-for-2000
I don't care for the Nash but kinda like the Fairmont.
I liked the Caddy-camino I saw on Craigslist last week better though.
Personally, I kind of like the 64 Mercury fastback you can see in the background of the Durango pictures. Somehow, names like "Sable" just aren't in the same league as "Marauder."

They do provide a warning sticker to let you know that.
No wood for the Nash, but it has potential, way to many gratuitous do-dads. Let Chip Foose or the Ring Bros spend a few days on it and I'll bet it would be completly wood worthy.
