Anyone who has seen the cult classic "Better Off Dead" will remember Lane Myer's '67 Camaro RS/SS350.
Well somebody owns it and restored it back to the original look of the movie car.

I was just talking about this car with a bud from my skatepark last week! He can quote all of the dialogue of the asian dudes at the stoplight drags.
Awesome piece of automotive memorabilia.
Not quite this, though

"Truly a sight to behold. A man beaten. The once great champ, now, a study in moppishness. No longer the victory hungry stallion we've raced so many times before, but a pathetic, washed up, aged ex-champion."
I have that movie on DVD. I watched it last night. I wish I could get one today for the price Lane got his. Anyone know the GRM amount he paid?

"I don't know what's worse--not speaking English, or only speaking Howard Cosell."

I don't remember exactly, but I think he borrowed $200 from his dad or something. Maybe $500.
Also in need of restoration.

Beware of the cute and fuzzy bunnies.
In reply to Giant Purple Snorklewacker:
She wasn't particularly good looking 25 years ago. What did you expect. Lane should have taken back the hot blonde chick. It wasn't like he was looking to marry. Sheesh.

I was always more of a fan of this car anyway.

The blond was Amanda Wyss. Time has been a little more kind to her.

Who dat?
My favorite old car of all times. That exact car is on my automotive drive/own bucket list for sure.
Why does the link take me back to this thread? Is this happening to anyone else?
Oh, the www and http are reversed. Still, weird.
In reply to pinchvalve:
That had nothing to do with it, I changed the link 3 times and it still isn't working.
