I used to watch the news and get depressed, but now I view it for entertainment and and it really doesn't bother me. It is for the most part idiots on display with a few reoccuring characters like Floridians and the Westboro folks and their crazy antics. As long as you can pretend the stock market news isn't the same one your money is in that can be pretty good to. The other day they opened the Wall Street News with a chorus of "How Low Can You Go".

There has to be some way to make a drinking game out of this. Every time the dow goes down you have to chug a beer. By the time your retirement is gone you are too drunk to care.
