The thread title had me thinking of a Dodge truck commercial on an aircraft carrier.

This was even better.

See you later, Tom!

back in the mid 70s when my Father was having his other hip replaced at the Philadelphia Navel Hospital, they had a guy in there with two broken legs.. both were shattered in a motorcycle accident. Towards the end they had to ween him off of the morphine as he was seeing pink ducks on his tractionbars.

Well, the day before he was to be discharged.. he had gone through months of traction and then physical therepy.. he snuck out of the hospital to the nearest bar and tied one on good time.

Getting back up to his floor, the elevator doors opened, but there was no elevator there. He fell 6 floors and wound up back in traction with both legs shattered again.

Had he done something equally stupid previously to be the captain of a L'il Rascal?

well, it does appear to be china.. so there is probably a lack of safety regulations in regards to door strangth on elevators

Y'all must have not seen this in the news... It was in Korea and the guy died. It was suggested he had some mental issues.
