Not factory. Conversion by Sun Chaser who also did Celica version.
I thought that parts of the Eagle looked familiar! My first car was a 1981 Celica. I lusted after the Sunchaser after I saw one in my podunk home town.
I'd buy that and restore it to running condition. $3000 seems like a decent price for something so odd/rare. I'm sure the restoration costs would put you upside-down with regards to value almost instantly, but it'd be fun when done.
