We married off my little brother last weekend. Being there and seeing all these little kids I used to beat on who are all taller then me made me feel a little old. They are away this week and then off to North Carolina to look for work.

Actualy, I take that back. Something that makes me feel old is that my stepson, who was 8 when I married his mom, turns 16 this week, and is getting his learner's permit today.
And that means that he has to log 60 hours of dirivng time, so everytime we go someplace, he'll be driving. In my car.

North Carolina seems to be the place to go. There are no teaching jobs left on Long Island, and a few of ther friends went there and are doing pretty well.
