Due to some unfortunate luck with my s2000, I had to take a codrive for my first national tour event. While it sucks to try to learn a car that you've never driven in 3 runs per day, I must say that this car was very easy to connect with. Great steering feel, adequate power (although underpowered for STU), and strong brakes. Gentlemen, this was my chariot for the weekend:

I completely understand why "E36 M3" is changed to E36 M3 now.

We finished 10th (me!) and 11th (the owner of the car) out of 15 overall. Since it was my first event, I was stoked that I wasn't DFL. Better yet, i had a freaking blast despite not being in my own car. This is a great machine!

Yep, I have both an S2000 and an M3 ... The M3 is a hell of a car. I think if you want a car to beat on at the track, its one of the best deals out there today.

I'm glad that you still got to go despite your incident. Have you found something to drive for the local event this weekend?
