I get by with a little help from my GRM friends.

I lost a post in the minor win thread but I thought this might warrant its own thread as GRMers are awesome!

I've been working to get my camaro ready for an autox test and tune today so I could go play with some GRMers.  As of last week I was on schedule to be good to go.  I'd be running some 2002 date code tires, but I'm just there for fun so NBD, smoke em if you got em.  After mentioning it to my buddy he offered up some well worn re71s to swap to some vette wheels I have.  Sweet!

I end up finding more metal in the oil filter than I'm comfortable with, I'd run it in the past, but as swmbo reminded me I'm "not good at learning lessons the easy way"

Buddy offers up his nice weather DD with said re71s on it.  I got to spend the day ripping on a car that was way faster than it should be and hanging out with two GRMers talking about cheap racecars and poor life choices.

I never knew I wanted a Q45 on re71s,  but it seems I do.

I power washed it this morning and returned it to it's home.  I take a fairly curvy road (for NE ohio) which was much different on the ride home in the square body suburban .

Remounted the 20s and strapped the car seat back in, it's ready for Dad duty again.

Nobody knows...until you know! 

Put some Mustang shoes directly on it and it becomes a darn good 4 door Mustang.
