Having a couple of compression fractures of my own in T5 and T6, that can be a real problem. My only advise is to get most of your major injuries out of the way when you are young like I did. Lived to tell about it but still feel the pain.
I hyperextended my knee a tiny bit over a month ago. Still feeling it.
