I'm in love with OCMS, and have seen them play a few times. They are really fun to listen to, and I have learned so much about cocaine from them.
That's so freakin' weird. I was just turned on to them this weekend, and have had "I hear them all" stuck in my head for the last 24 hours.
Five or six years ago they played in a tiny neighborhood bar down the street from my house. Damn good show.

These two are good stuff. Haven't heard the others you mention, but will check them out. If you haven't give Drive By Truckers a spin, it's worth a shot. They are one of my favorites.
Also - all of these bands are making it hard for me to avoid getting a stand up bass.

Congrats!!! My two sons have a band, play a good number of local gigs and enjoy the hell out of it, make a few extra bucks doing it. They are both successful business guys, so the money is just extra goodness. However, their cousin (my sister's son) is a real rock star. Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters. They go to his shows all the time. Lot's of stories there.
woah. so you're dave grohl's uncle. wow.
Xceler8x: i dig. my girlfriend will definitely like as well.

Do eet.
Better yet, grassroots it: make it out of cardboard and scrap wood.
Even mediocre stand up bass players can ALWAYS get a gig.
Really nice, congrats.
Listening to it in Reverbnation.
Good beat and lyrics which is as far as I know as a non-musician that has come over the years to really like traditional/vintage country.
Would fit nicely in The Range Radio Station 95.3 FM www.khyi.com here in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
I am actually listening to this while in Spain, where I'm from an currently visiting.
Best of luck

Oh yeah. Sorry, I didn't think about that.

There are a few songs up there, but I honestly don't know if they were updated after the album got back from mastering. Amazon and iTunes will have finished versions to sample, too.
If you can access this site, you should be able to get full songs at www.reverbnation.com/trigger5
I've had KDHX streaming on my computer since I saw this thread and I heard one of your songs around 1pm today (noon your time).

Cool, thanks for the recommendation. I'm always looking for independent-leaning radio stations that might play us. The more ears this stuff gets into, the better off we'll be.
And yeah, I caught that, too, Evan. I'm hoping you'll hear us a couple times on Saturday, too. There's a couple country shows back to back in the afternoon that like us.
