I was on a shuttle bus at a resort once, the bus had an Eagles concert playing on the television.
At one point, Don Henley stopped the show and announced that he was going to perform some of his solo stuff.
I remarked "Aww, these nice people paid for an Eagles concert and now they're stuck with Don Henley..."
I got some dirty looks but I got a lot more laughs.

Actually, despite being a huge BL fan, I really like the Eagles. But Henley is a huge insufferable douche in interviews. Luckily, I don't have to hang out with him, just listen to his music. I mean, it's not like he ever peed on my rug or anything.
My brother and I won free tickets to a Don Henley concert many years ago. Edie Brickell opened for him, and she put on a great show.
Don comes out with the drums turned way up on the sound board, (he plays drums....so we all must want to hear ONLY drums) and proceeds to suck....badly. I forgot how many truly terribly sappy love songs that guy has written. He acted like a pompous jerk---which was a big shock after Edie's very honest and modest performance. We left early.....and we hardly ever leave events early.
Henley sucks. Even if that is just my opinion man......
