I can take or leave the Eagles music. Yes they are influential and all that. I think Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt were the underrated cogs of their music.

I forgot how many truly terribly sappy love songs that guy has written. He acted like a pompous jerk---which was a big shock after Edie's very honest and modest performance. Did you ever catch Metallica's "Speed of Sound" tour? I hear they are a bunch of shiny happy people.

We went to a shopping mall and laughed at all the shoppers
And security guards trailed us to a record shop
We asked for Mojo Nixon, they said “he don’t work here”
We said “if you don’t got Mojo Nixon, then your store could use some fixin'”
We got into a car, away we started rollin
I said “how much you pay for this?”, she said “nothin’, man, it’s stolen”

the last time Motley Crue came through.. they were very shiny and very happy. They were quite upset that the rollercoaster for the drums could not be set up in our 30 foot high room.. and made their displeasure with working in a casino very vocal.
needless to say.. load out took longer than usual for some reason
