Ok, not really. But all of you talking about Hot Wheels has gotten be back on the hunting them train. I was never a collector, I could give a crap about rarity, etc, though I won't turn down an especially rare one if I find it (I recently managed to find a gold Chevelle SS convert with the factory misprint where there is no black on the linework of the car), I just like the way they look, and the fact that if you spend 10$, you have 10 new Hot Wheels. Toys R Us was running a special at least over the weekend- where if you bought 5 single Hotwheels (I can do that w/o blinking) you get a two pack for free!
Notables include-
both colors of the Tyrell I was able to find
Both colors of the Datsun 510 I was able to find.
A blue Ford Maverick?!?!
A Chevy Vega
A Mazda Furai
And many... many more. I spent about 50$ in one run because I determined I wasn't done til I had them all. So damn you, and damn the fact that I'm probably going to Target over lunch to see what THEY have. I've got quite the muscle car collection going, and I seem to remember at least 1 Target having a Gran Torino.

Try 800-524-8697 (Mattel customer service)
I picked up a Ford Falcon XB (Hi Max!) at Krogers, of all places. It's sad when a bin of $1 toy cars can sideline a family of four.

The other day, largely sparked by conversation here, I looked at the Hot Wheels at my local Discount Drug Store. To my amazement, three of the front six cars showing on the pegs were, Porsche 914, Lotus Europa, Alfa GTA.

I just realized that bringing my lunch to work has saved me money in another way: I'm no longer going to the local supermarket salad bar... which is right near the toy alisle... which is where much of my collection was purchased.

What color 914? The rarer colors are selling for 10 bucks each on 914 forums.
I have a metallic red, yellow, and green

Yeah, I gave my son a dark green 914 for Christmas. Hold on, I think that was Matchbox.
I just picked up a matchbox Holden Ute and another Ducati 1098. I never pass the display without at least looking.

I can't do the motorcycle ones, they bother me for some reason. Also, the one Ducati I spotted was all torn up... wheel was crooked and whatnot.
I grabbed a few awesome ones at the local Kroger a few weeks ago. I need to take pics. Got a pair of 510s, a skyline or two, a holden, and some other awesomeness.
Yeah, I've recently got the addiction as well. Picked up a yellow V8 Vega at a CVS last night.
And I'm only going after the ones I like, as far as full fledged collector mode, maybe someday!

I got the blue one of that same Vega. I was REALLY confused because until I looked closer, I thought it was another Maverick w/ a different stripe scheme. Cool little bugger tho.
In response to mndsm:
So far I've found 4 color combos on the Grabber. Kmart is the only place you'll find the green/black combo.
There's a white Vega out there which isn't as cool as the yellow, but cooler looking than the blue one IMO.

Ooooh Kmart, didn't even think of that. I know where i'm going this weekend.
K-Mart actually has a contract with Hot Wheels for exclusive colors. They made the AMC Javelin in Black. You will always finds cooler ones there.

That explains why Kmart had all the hot vintage stuff a few years back. I know where there's a good/bad Kmart by me. Game on.
I finally found the Panoz LMP in yellow as part of a 5-pack at a Big Lots. Decided I didn't car about the color, pulled it out of the pack, and gave the other four to SWMBO's son last Xmas.
Otherwise, check your local grocery/drug store chain's toy aisle when you're rolling around. I found the TR-6 and the Datsun 510 in the "bargin bin" for a dollar a piece at the Kroger (none of the rare colors, though)..and the Ferrari 330 P4 for a dollar at our local CVS.
