If you ever saw the forgettable "sex drive" movie, there was a line about wanting a can of purple. In the fridge there was a rack of cans of soda labeled "purple". I immediately knew what flavor it was and wamted one. With that E36 M3, the more generic the better.

Am I missing something? The video I see is a 43 second clip about a guy talking about "no ceilings" and "bisexual" meaning "two" or "dos". Where does purple drank come into play?

Contextual clues. Someone earlier in the thread intimated that perhaps these deeply thought provoking lyrics are a result of abuse of purple drank and time spent in prison.

Youd have to know a bit about the people involved. Cash money inc (of whom manny fresh is a part, and lil wayne got his start) was a huge part of the southern crunk/screwed style of hip hop. Along with that came the rise in popularity of purple drank. So much so that dj screw (another name on the southern scene) od'ed and died on it, and lil wayne was hospitalized from abuse of it not long ago. Thr mix itself is often attributed to the type of music, and the relative incoherence of it all.

Tldr- manny fresh and lil wayne were probably cooked as berkeley off this E36 M3 when they made that mess.

My favorite term for it is "Barney" compliments of Juicy J. Also don't forget about "lean" which is essentially the same thing, but not always purple.
