As some of you may know, I did some work with Tin Man Brewing Co. a while a go (building a giant robot). Well the two designers that worked on the branding for Tin Man, Aaron Tanner of Melodic Virtue and Matt Wagner of Matt Wagner Design just won a GOLD in package design for Tin Man Brewing Company's cans at the American Advertising Federation's 2013 ADDY Awards in Phoenix!
Aaron is also now working on a picture book for the Pixies.
I don't really know what my point is, other than I'm very proud of a couple of guys I've been friends with for 20+ years, and if you need any design work done hit these talented mother berkeleyers up!
I'd like to try the beer, but I've never seen it around here. I'll have to try the big beer store.

I think right now they're only distributing in Indiana and Canada. Oddly enough, it's easier to get over the hurdles of shipping it out of the country than it is from state to state, even though we're only a couple miles from Kentucky.
Canadian Provinces in their infinite wisdom subsidizes micro brewing, even to the point they undercut Canadian jobs.
True government doing what it does best.
