Sigh. I wish my kid was an enthusiast.

A bacon enthusiast?

I drove around in the national forest in the snow yesterday. In an E150. It was Beautiful.

I also did donuts in a parking lot in the snow...with a golf cart.

Today I drove a Kia Spectra that I dragged out of a junkyard, with no left front fender, no front bumper and no hood, twenty-one miles home, in the snow, on bald tires with the brake line to the right rear drum pinched off with vice-grips (otherwise, there would have been no brakes at all). Does that count as "manly" or is it, as my wife says, "just stupid"?

That is almost Babe Rally Eligible .... Just add 2 zeros to the milage!!

BTW I drove my 1973 Lincoln Continental about 200 miles with vice grips holding the brake line together! ... It weighed a little more then a Kia!

Do you mean 'true' unglates defined as members of the orders Perissodactyla, Artiodactyla, and Cetacea or will the full range of subunglates be considered also?

^^and with that, we have it: Dorkiest post ever.^^

I love how this board turns on a dime from normal to D&D-weird, then turns back again... over and over. Reminds me of my own life, except for the normal part.

I got tired of Facebook... too many Farmville requests, and a couple of stalkerish messages from grade-school friends. (Lil tip to the younguns: If you hang out with all weird kids in school, not only are you rewarded with a few lifelong contacts with truly interesting people, you also wind up with some past acquaintances who become extremely strange.)

As difficult as this is after being bestowed with the esteemed "Dorkiest Post EVER" title - I have a confession to make. I had no idea what an ungulate was so I googled it. That is straight-up plagiarism from the "Ungulate Wiki".

Well, there is still the "Dorkiest Post EVAR" title, so you have some work to do.

Wow, if you can read, and understand, that Wiki article on Ungulates, you are a better man than I am.
