I just finished up throwing together a Spotfiy playlist with exactly 10 hours of metal (mostly for my occasional long solo road trips where I need stuff that will keep me awake). It's various types of what I personally consider to be metal, ranging from classic stuff (Maiden, Sabbath) to Prog Metal, to Folk Metal, and other metal-ish stuff that maybe isn't metal by definition but is fairly metal-ish. Anyhow, if you're like me you're always looking for new things to listen to (or things you've forgotten about), so figured I'd share it in case anyone is interested:

Sadly, there is no Interstellar Sledgehammer on Spotify.
Are you familiar with Darkest Hour? I used to play their Undoing Ruin album on a loop.
Darkest Hour is good, loved seeing them live
No Interstellar Sledgehammer yet, but one half of us is on there in a previous band called Last Chance and we even do a few of these songs still.
I'm not sure it's metal but In My Darkest Hour, Mind Out Of Time and Running To You are pretty heavy and you can hear me blow up an audio interface, a speaker and somehow make a near perfect flatline sound by accident on Slow Death.

All three posts plugging darkest hour. I guess I'm going to have to check them out: \m/
That's a great playlist! Lots of stuff I know and love, and some others I don't know, I'll have to give it a listen.
Glad to see you had some Gojira on there. We are going to see them again this Friday, they are an epic live band. Mario is such a monster behind the drums.
