I once told somebody if I could off anybody in the world, the complete band of Nickleback would be in the top 10.

If I could go back in time, I'd probably prevent the formation of Nickleback before I did anything to thwart Hitler or whatever.

No, no, no. Sitting behind a desk for 10 hours straight is evil.

I have done both... I prefer to be on my feet for 8, 12, or 16 hours working than sitting at a desk for 8 trying hard to stay focused and not get fat from sitting on my ass and munching

Why does everyone of their songs sound the same? I am guessing it is because they have no talent.

i think the answer to the first part depends on the truth of the second.
if the goal is making good music, then the second part is true, and the answer to the first.
if the goal is making huge piles of cash, that is the answer to the first, and the second part is false.
I don't understand all the hate for Nickleback. No, its not groundbreaking music, its nothing special, but its not bad, IMHO. One of the only mainstream bands I like.
Living in Vancouver, there's entirely too much Nickleback.
Chad Kruger (sp) is a redneck.
During an interview, Matthew Good was asked what he thought of Nickleback. He said that they didn't seem to be very innovative.
Chad's reply was something along the lines of he was going to rough up Matthew Good if he ever met him on the streets because that's the way they do it at home (which is Alberta BTW).

I know people who grew up with/around them in Hanna. That is not what they, nor many people say. Usually people that like you don't treat you specifically like dirt/garbage. So of course you'd like them/think they're nice guys.
Its like one day I went to get pizza with my now ex-gf and a dude that I used to be friends with but had a dropping out was there. My gf thought he was peachy keen, and I obviously begged to differ.

Ah... classic: "I ain't jacked my lumber, baby, since my chain saw you." They don't write 'em like that any more. I'm not sure they ever did, actually.
Is the hate for Nickleback just a fad thing? I'm not a fan, but there is much worse music out there.
I don't want to grow up at ALL. I just got back from an all expense-paid trip to S. Korea, where I drove a racetrack prepped turbo-charged Genesis Coupe on the track, rode shotgun with the Korean drifting god, ate sushi til I damn near exploded and got to play with a 3-series on a road track. Of course, the pay sucks mightily but you can't have everything.

When I worked a desk job last summer, I felt like I aged at least a few years. I'm back to full-speed all day every day; no time for hour breaks or water cooler talk.

I have 3 Nickleback CD's. I rarely actually buy music, so that says something. I don't get the hate either. U2's music sounds the same in every freaking song yet everyone thinks they are musical geniuses. It's just a matter of taste. If they were really that terrible they wouldn't sell the number of 'records' they do. People bitched about disco but we still listen to it and think retro is cool. So, I give you this:
