I think alot of the problem was me, but she sucked in plenty of ways too. I used it to force me to work on myself, I still am but I'm better than I was and I'm trying real hard to be a good man/ partner. The new one is hot, kind and pretty smart, wealthier, and 27 ( I'm 42) so..... I'm workin hard not to berkley it up. 2 years in and we're making it work. Never perfect but working hard to make it good.

I know that feel. I just got a 10k bill from the state of mn in regards to parental fees for my kid. I had several questions, including how the berkeley my ex spent 10k in medical on my kid. It's a never ending merry go round of berkeleyery and shenanigans.

Been there, done that, lost the t-shirt in the final settlement... With kids, all I can say from experience is that ANYTHING said about your ex in front of your children is incredibly impressionable and will carry with them. sometimes it's better to just start fresh, take the financial lumps, and move on to being a good co-parent to your kid(s). I went through a several months long divorce with a young child (6 at the time), and I made a pact to never ever ever badmouth my ex. It wasn't always a two way street, but I can happily say that my son is almost 13 now, and he's thrived in the environment.
It does get better. It sucks for a really long time, and I feel for you right now... But it does get better.

I always thought a bachelor party made a lot of sense right after the signing.
