Excellent news! Hope recovery keeps moving along!
Glad to hear that you're feeling better. I can't make any promises about hosting a sim series, but we can discuss internally. I watched yesterday's Sebring race. That was cool as I got sucked into the entire experience.
Line came out last night. Feeling great this morning, will be getting a chest x-ray later today (as the number of test kits are still low enough that instead of testing to confirm negative 2x within a 96 hour window, then a 72 hour shedding period) they're doing a clinical negative and will target a 4/2 release from quarantine.
Then I'll go forth into the unknown. The day job hasn't handled it well, has shown no humility care or communication to those who I work in close contact with. I took matters into my own hands after they had 24 hours to do so. They aren't happy about it, but it needed to be done. It sucks as the service they provide to their clients is wonderful, but a pair of people at the pointy end are so arrogant and ignorant, that I couldn't allow for their careers to benefit from my efforts going forward. The distillery and brewery are obviously very modified business models right now. And we've started hand sanitizer production for donation tolocal hospital networks. Packaging is a major difficulty.

It's mind-blowing and it's not about me, or where or how I contracted it, it's about informing and protecting my colleagues and our clients. Information is power. If it weren't for the governor of California, they'd be having nearly 900 people from all over the lower 48 attending Omni in Carlsbad this weekend. Ignorant, tone-deaf, lacking humility and dangerous.
this is NOT the year to be concerned about such gatherings. And they seriously looked at relocating it, instead of delaying it.
Dang I never saw this thread; I saw your post in the other thread and didn't see follow up.
Thank you for updating us and glad you're feeling better. Keep pushing!

Geez. I'm glad the company I work for doesn't treat us like that. They canceled their huge, yearly conference because of this a week before they even told us to work from home for the foreseeable future.
Get well soon!

This next cold one is for you
In reply to z31maniac :
They did send everyone home with their workstations to work from home after I popped as positive, but didn't alert them as to why.
You'll need to log in to post.
