My sons school is having a Spirit Week this week before their major fund raiser this Sunday. The theme for the fund raiser is Olympic Blast and tomorrow's theme is dress like your favorite Olympian. He chose Zeus
He's a witty, artistic kid and is jazzed with his choice. I love the little bugger.
Now you just need to make some thunder.

When I was about to graduate architecture school, a couple of my housemates and I made a bunch of lightning-bolt-shaped gliders out of scrap foamcore (about 30" long). Then we went up on the roof of the architecture building dressed in old bedsheets and threw them down at passersby, shouting stuff like "FOOLISH MORTALS!".
It was a good time.

That sounds like a very architect-ish thing to do. I haven't met an architect that wasn't at least a little bit eccentric. It's no wonder the architect driving a SAAB stereotype exists.

We have one in storage- haven’t worked up the courage to fire it up yet though.
