reminds me of the Vosges bacon chocolate bar.

I don't count calories or anything; I just try to use common sense. Eat vegetables (roasted or sauteed are my favorite, but I admit this typically adds a bit of fat), eat fried stuff in moderation, drink lots of water, brown carbs over white, etc. etc. Of course every once and a while I'll eat a whole baguette for a meal, dunked in olive oil or spread with butter, but nobody's perfect. I'm just glad I'm not a very big fan of sweets. I can go weeks without dessert and not notice.

And black unsweetened coffee only has like twenty calories for a decent sized cup! Even when considering its acidity and caffeine, it has to be one of the least "damaging" indulgences on a day-to-day basis.

the worst thing i ate was the "Fat Chick" sandwich 20 oz. fried chicken breast, LOTS of bacon and swiss, and what had to be 2Lbs. of fries. I almost vomited once I was out the door, and it took me 3 days before my apatite was somewhat back to normal, but hey, I got a free T-shirt!

If your in Ithaca, go to Bench Warmers down on the commons.

Now I feel bad about eating that sirloin burger from jack in the box the other day.

I like their fried foot long tacos much more than I should. Thankfully the nearest location is about 700 miles from me.

Being single kinda sucks when it comes to meal time. Cooking for one usually means a combo meal somewhere. I'm a skinny guy - so while it looks OK on the outside, I just hope my insides aren't rotting out. I've got a pretty good handle on what foods make me feel good and how much of the bad stuff I can get away with (I have a sweet tooth, but I don't always give in). And I've been getting back into running, which I used to do a lot anyway.

Caffeine and alcohol though...both still whoop my butt. Comes in handy sometimes.

I've been single for the better part of a year, and I cook a lot for friends. Even when I am cooking for one, I pretty much cook for four... might as well get some leftovers out of it. It's no fun to always eat alone.

i'm on a coffee diet. i drink a large pot for breakfast and anything from the last 24hrs. that is capable of clogging things up gets flushed out with the mid morning poo.

Anyone remember that 23,000-calorie sandwich some dude made? It had a couple pounds of steak on it, pounds of cheese, fried onion rings and all sorts of other stuff. I'm too lazy to find a link to it.

Man... just got back from Friendly's. Wasn't sure what to get... I really wasn't that hungry. I wasn't gonna pussy out and get a salad, maybe I'll try the turkeyburger. Yeah, looks good, healthy... dammit... for $1.20 more I can get the colossal double cheeseburger... but I'm not that hungry. Dammit! It's too good of a deal to pass up. Bacon, 4 slices of cheese. Of course, I order the Colossal. Which comes with a plate of fries... and surprise, my dad and sister can't finish their fries so I get those too. Oh, my sister can't finish her fried chicken. Well, sign me up! Damn... I haven't had Forbidden Chocolate at Friendly's since I was like 12... I'm gonna need some of that, not sure when I'm going to be back here again. Maybe just one scoop. Just a taste. E36 M3! It's the same price to get the 2 scoop sunday with whipped cream and topping because I got a meal. Okay, sign me up. Damn... they have chocolate sauce, hot fudge, and swiss chocolate, just for the chocolate toppings. Screw it, give me the cubed vanilla pound cake topping.
