Well, no luck here finding a belt that size, but I seem to remember seeing one close, so I'll keep my eyes open.

Well, just struck out at two R/C shops. The first one is outta business, the second one didn't have anything that small. I'll try the other sites and sewing machine shops later.
I have one that is close to the right length but too narrow laying on my desk. It came from the power nozzle onan ElectroLux vacuum. So you might check some vacuum repair places also.
No, no.
Stock Drive Products is ground zero for all that stuff. I worked in prototype automation + lab robotics for years and they're it. If you get it from McMaster a lot of it comes from them anyway.

See (hotlinked from my own photobucket account) the throttle linkage on the Weber on my Sprite:
I made the belt by overlapping and CA gluing a chunk out of a longer belt, but the joint is on the slack side of the belt and has worked perfectly for years.

Dude, that is sweet.
Well, a day or two before I posted this I ran into nothing but dead ends trying to find the contact info for the manufacturer (Hirschmann). Well, today I discovered they are about 40 miles from my house and can set me up with a new belt!
