I failed to pre-order mine & Amazon is now sold out. Time to find it elsewhere.
While on the topic of metal books, Rex Brown (Pantera) has a memoir out on March 12th. In April a book called "The Merciless Book of Heavy Metal Lists" is due, think its a compilation type?
Silverfleet! MA$$hole! My buddy Mike's band Hot Graves is headed your way! Playing with your boys Phantom Glue on the 6th. It'd be rad if you could check em out!
In reply to poopshovel:
Work, no can do. And I really want to hear new Phantom Glue since I believe they just finished recording their next album.

I can vouch that Amon Amarth & Testament put on good shows and that Accept puts on a great show.
I bet King Diamond will be awesome to see.

I believe that book is printed to order, or something like that.
Skolnick said to get it here, though: http://www.mcnallyjackson.com/bookmachine/geek-to-guitar-hero
I have a few more shows in the queue, too:
Anthrax/Exodus/Municipal Waste, Suicidal Tendencies, Clutch, Dick Dale, GWAR.
Well I just submitted my form to volunteer for Copenhell. For ten hours of my time, I get free access to the festival. Not sure what I will be doing yet, but it was be either a guard, traffic, or cleanup. Seems like a sweet deal to me and I am excited.
fritzsch, nice.
Testament should be on the top line, though.
Old video. Municipal Waste goes to the museum on their off day.
NSFW due to language.

(Late to this game) But I think I heard something on XM radio yesterday, a collaboration of some sort that included King Diamond? And actually sounded good??
I was never a fan of the "high-pitch followed by growling grunts and groans" style.

Probably maybe Probot? This whole record rules the berkeleying school. Go buy it. Love how raw the vocals are on this track.

And he's a master at all those little subtle creepy ass 2-part harmonies (like 1:55 in the video.) The King is no berkeleying joke.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but learning all these tunes is making me giddy. Looks like the tour will be kind of a mid-west deal. We will be hooking up with HUMUNGUS for the last leg of their tour in Minneapolis. Anyway, this song is rad. The dudes are stoked to have another guitar player so they can play more of the 2-guitar E36 M3:
