It's what happens when you love the riffs and ignore the lyrics.

this...that video is entirely hilarious, but PJ is seriously near the top of my A list...

LOL. Love Pearl Jam, never understand 99% of the lyrics of any song by them or anyone else. I am always surprised when my wife says that she is surprised that I like a certain song because it is about the death of a child or rape or something like that. I'm like, huh? It has a good beat.
Love Pearl Jam too but I wish Eddie Vedder would put down the sandwich before trying to sing. 'Even Flow' is probably the only song they do that I can halfway understand the lyrics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rsa3HohTIdo 'Ten' is my favorite PJ album, never get tired of it.

The guitar jam at the end of Alive is seriously badass...not technically that difficult, but if you need to get amped before a run or something, theres really nothing better! I used to beat up Pearl Jam 10 , Live Throwing Copper, and Weezers Blue Album in my Sony CD Walkman when I was 14...
Pearl Jam has become what Led Zepplin was to me 15 years ago:
Good music, but really, does it have to get so much airplay? I've probably heard enough Led Zepplin and Pearl Jam now, thanks.
Love Pearl Jam, with the exception of that terrible "Where oh where can my baby be" remake. Nails on a chalkboard, Vedder bleats worse than Stevie Nicks in that one. His acoustic stuff is wonderful too.
That was great. My all time favorite is this one. Be warned contains really awful metal.
