A few months back (could be a decade though, time runs together) GRM reviewed a paint chip repair product that got rave reviews. Can anyone refresh my memory?

I thought you were supposed to pour acid all over the car & say screw the paint? Or was that drop acid then doodle all over the car??? It's hell getting old...

Tom Spangler used color chip on his GTO and I think he thought it a waste of money for stone chips on the front. Didn't really work at all.

Thanks Adrian. That's just what I'm using it for. I think I'll send him a message.

I used it on my wife's BMW and liked it a lot (wrote that story, too).

It seems to work better on dark colors. And it needs a true chip. On scratches it's no so good. But on little pits and chips, epic. For me, anyway.

I'll give it a try JG. I have lots of chips, some are pretty big, like 6mm X 6mm? Do you think that's going to be too large?

After the article in the GRM I'm considering this for my STi, there are TONS of little rock chips on the nose, and since it's a black pearl color the aluminum of the hood sticks out like a sore thumb!
