This. I bought a 2015 Scion FR-S. I don't regret it one bit. Fun cars, especially that particular fun car, attract hacks. The money I might have saved would have been spent undoing butchery.
You get the best of both worlds. A regular car that you still see the value in, and a fun car that's...fun.
