Got 100MB Zip disks collecting dust somewhere? I'll give you money for them! Not much, but still.

Also if you have a Zip drive, more money for you!

Don't ask why I need them, I'll have to kill you.

I just found in our storage room a complete external drive (parallel), in the original box, canvas carry bag, and a bunch of disks (4 or 5, have to go check). Probably have more disks if I search around. Was wondering what to do with all that. Interested?

Negative on the parallel, but if they're 100MB disks, and shipping from whatever far off land I'm pretty sure you're in wouldn't be ridiculous, then I'm in.

I think I have an old scsi drive one of those laying around in storage. Though I believe the disks had files on them that are still classified. I use to do some bad E36 M3 in high school.

I've got a SCSI ZIP drive here. Let me check on discs.

In Ontario at the moment, shipping Stateside shouldn't be too bad. I'll have a look how many I can round up. All should be 100MB.

I would bet that I have 6 to 10 disks and the zip machine. I can look tomorrow.

This statement has huge irony.

I have a huge store of them somewhere for the milling machines we used to have. I know I have a few operational readers at work.

I think I have 2 Zip drives. Does that make me twice as old?

How many do you need?

This is the best forum ever.

I'm looking for maybe a dozen disks (but won't complain about more. eBay recently had a lot of 29 go for $9.99... I think I could find change in the couch for that), and a USB compatible drive. Which seems anti-climactic given the apparent horde of them GRM has, but internet retailers either actually have 250s when they say 100s, are eBay and prices there are all over the place, or haven't changed their price since 1999. Seriously, $80 for a Zip disk? That's one expensive coaster!

I don't know if I still have mine... It's probably sitting in my parents' house 1000 miles away, but I did have a 250 USB drive (backwards compatible with the 100) and 1 or 2 100 mb disks.

I'd really like to know what you need it for, though.

I don't have a zip drive or any disks, but the other day I came across my old Mini disc player. I remember thinking that they were the future when I bought it. I even had a Mini Disc player in one of my cars instead of a CD player. Then mp3 players came along.

Last year I pitched my SCSI Zip and probably 30-40 disks. Never occurred to me anyone would want them. Stupid stupid stupid.

Im sure I have a drive and disks kicking around in storage downstairs.

Shoot me an email next week jim at misfittoysracing dot com so I remember to look for them when I return from vacation.

Whatever I have is yours for the cost of shipping.

I STILL have a MD player in one of my cars! Sure, I haven't used that car as a dd in probably 8-10 years, but it's still in there!

I think I still have one and a few disks too. Are we a bunch of hoarders or what?
