My mom passed two weeks ago. I got a bunch of old pics from my brother that he collected from her place. This pic is from my parent's wedding day (the first one, as they got divorced and remarried a second time!). Can you name the car? They were married in 1963 if that helps.

Not sure, sorry that you lost your mom. I'm sure someone here will know what car it is. It's a great pic though!
I can't place the make, but from the general shape it appears to be early 1950s.
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom.
As for the car I'm going to guess a late 50s Studebaker.
Sorry for your loss. Roofline looks Studebakerish.
I'm thinking 55 Chrysler 300. Here's the rear view. I think the real clue is that ashtray? on the back of the front seat.

The ashtray in the center prevents this from being a two door car because the seat would have to have a center seam for folding the seat.
Notice the c-pillar. See the two-piece-ness of the pillar? Is one part of that two piece attached to the door? Would that then give some clues to the shape of the rear door?

Note also the trunk seam runs with the rear window vs the normal 3 inches back. That's pretty unique
Studebaker Champion maybe?
1962 Plymouth Valiant is close. It has the trunk line and ashtray, but still a little off.
1962 valiant interior showing a similar ash tray on the rear of the front bench:

There seems to maybe be some crape paper streamers at the rear of the car but is there a very pointy red tail light peeking out at the bottom of the picture?
What's messing me up on the valiant is the c pillar. It looks too thin compared to the original photo.
The 1960 Chrysler Windsor has the ashtray, and C pillar, but not trunk seam. Getting close
I think the tail light "wing" is the clue...
I was thinking 1962 valiant but the side wing starts more forward

This looks like the same C-pillar to me. Two exposed screw heads in the same place, four door 1957 Cadillac Fleetwood.
Trunk lid goes to the chrome trim at the base of the rear window.

I think you have it. It's the chrome spear in the bottom right nice job ![](https://bringatrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/1957_cadillac_fleetwood_1584226420208495d56IMG_3401.jpg?fit=2048%2C1365)
In the bottom of the wedding picture you can see the tip of the fin's chrome trim...

Another '57 Caddy. Note the pillar aand screws.

I now notice the V on the ashtray

Good job Warren!
You guys are awesome. I wonder if it belonged to my grandparents? For as long as I can remember my grandmother wrecked, er, I mean, drove Cadillacs.
In reply to vwcorvette (Forum Supporter) :
Based on the watch, I'd guess that's granddad driving.
edit: I mean I don't know your granddad, but it's a guy driving :)
Now I can get some sleep that was better than the most riveting mystery movie.
I am impressed! Great car-detective work!
And that Cadillac was quite the car!
